Joel Reiman, MN IFT Auction Chair

Thank you for your support... in the past seven years, the MN IFT Auction has raised over $37,000 for direct contributions to local and National IFT Scholarship Fund!

The IFT Foundation provides scholarships to undergraduate students and fellowships to graduate students to attract bright young minds to food science, food technology, and related curriculums. Funding is made possible by IFT Foundation donors, corporate sponsors, and private sources. More than 50 universities offer programs approved for IFT Foundation scholarships.
The MN IFT Silent Auction will take place in two parts with online bidding beginning in early February of 2012 and ending before the live auction. A live Silent Auction will take place at the February Minnesota Section of IFT Meeting.

The MN IFT is looking for donations that are unique, creative or talent sharing. Past prizes that have done well include spa packages, sporting event tickets, golf packages, gourmet dinners and quilting lessons. Cash donations are also welcome and we will purchase items on behalf or your company. We like to think that our event is unique in that it empowers our members to give back to the foundation, from which many of them received scholarships in the past, while providing a fun environment and something in exchange.
